Baltimore police are investigating the death of a 19-year-old West Baltimore man who was found shot once in the chest on North Payson Street late Friday night.

Steven Louis Jupiter Jr. of the 1600 block of W. Mulberry St. was shot just after 11: 10 p.m. outside the 7-Eleven store in the 700 block of N. Payson St., police said.

Jupiter was taken to Bon Secours Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, they said.

Homicide detectives said they knewof no motives or suspects.
