2 Howard restaurants granted liquor permits

THE BALTIMORE SUN

The Howard County liquor board granted liquor licenses to two restaurants this week.

The Alcoholic Beverage Hearing Board of Howard County approved the applications of the Rams Head at Savage Mill, a tavern slated to open next month in Savage, and Hanamura Japanese Restaurant in Columbia. In granting the licenses, commissioners said the individuals who requested them are "fit and proper persons to hold an alcoholic beverage license in Howard County."

The commissioners also said they did not believe that the liquor establishments would "disturb the peace and safety" of the neighborhoods.
