Fireman hospitalized after fire in Jessup

THE BALTIMORE SUN

A three-alarm fire in Jessup early yesterday brought curious residents out of their homes and sent a Howard County firefighter to a hospital after he became dizzy, authorities said.

Fire officials said the blaze started about 12: 13 a.m. inside Pallet Guy, a pallet refurbishing company in the 7900 block of Dorsey Run Road.

Fifty-five firefighters from Howard, Anne Arundel and Prince George's counties battled the blaze for two hours. Firefighter Brandon Maddox was treated at Howard County General Hospital and released.

Damage was estimated at $400,000. The cause is under investigation.
