Pleasant Valley: Firefighters from Pleasant Valley, Westminster, Taneytown, Lineboro and Littlestown, Pa., responded at 6: 25 p.m. Thursday to a vacant house fire in the 3200 block of Murkle Road. Units were out four hours and 20 minutes.
