Hollywood and the high seas took the spotlight at "A Night of Stars ... A Ship of Dreams," a party at the Living Classrooms Foundation in Fells Point. The fund-raiser was a benefit for both the foundation and Cure Autism Now.

Honorary chair Anthony Edwards, star of the NBC-TV show "E.R.," was on hand, as were many sailors who soon will compete in the America's Cup competition in New Zealand. This evening, however, some of those seafarers landed as models in a fashion show presented, in person, by designer Tommy Hilfiger. Lots of attitude on that runway, all of it fun.

Others in the crowd of 550 included event co-chairs Parker Rockefeller and Andrea Bertrand; James Bond, president and CEO of Living Classrooms; Jonathan Shestack and Portia Iversen, CAN co-founders; Will Clark, Orioles third baseman, and his wife, Lisa; Jerry Kirby, Kenny Read, Ed Baird and Russell Coutts, world-class sailors; Dr. Rebecca Landa, director of Kennedy Krieger Center for Autism; and George Collins, chair of Chessie Racing Inc.

The $225,000 raised goes to research to find a cure for autism, and to support Living Classroom programs for children with autism.
