Braves: Haven't lost consecutive games this season.

Brewers: Are 10-5 on the road and 3-9 at home. Mark Loretta is batting .038 (1-for-26) with runners in scoring position.

Padres: Their first six losses on nine-game road trip were by a total of 10 runs. San Diego was 8-1 against Philadelphia last season.

Phillies: Have won two straight after losing five of six.

Reds: Steve Avery had pitched at least seven innings in each of his first five starts, but failed to become the first Reds pitcher since Tom Browning in 1991 to go at least seven in his first six.
