Baltimore City
Southeastern District
Armed robbery: Two men armed with handguns stole a ring and wallet from a man, 23, in the 200 block of S. Madiera St. about 3: 45 p.m. Monday. The loss was estimated at $198.
Burglary: A man, 34, was arrested after he tried to steal a small portable refrigerator from a business in the 200 block of S. Central Ave. about 4: 15 p.m. Monday.
Central District
Theft: Two telephones worth $258 were reported stolen from Del. Verna L. Jones' campaign office in the 1100 block of Pennsylvania Ave. between April 15 and Tuesday. She also reported a laptop computer, valued at $2,158, was taken last fall.
Eastern District
Larceny: A stereo system valued at $780 and $300 in cash were taken from a home in the 800 block of N. Glover St. between 6: 30 a.m. and 3: 15 p.m. Tuesday.
Burglary: A $200 keyboard was stolen from New Zion Temple Apostolic Church in the 1800 block of N. Caroline St. about 8: 30 p.m. Tuesday. A side door was unlocked and an interior door was kicked in to gain entry.
Northern District
Theft: A riding lawn mower worth $922 was stolen from an unlocked garage in the 600 block of Gladstone Ave. on Tuesday.
Northwestern District
Burglary: A burglar broke a window between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. Monday at Forest Park Reformed Presbyterian Church in the 3400 block of Garrison Blvd., entered and stole a videocassette recorder.
Baltimore County
Garrison Precinct
Theft: A diamond ring, valued at $1,500, was stolen from a woman, 23, between 1: 30 a.m. and 1: 45 a.m. yesterday at a tavern in the 18000 block of Brick Store Road. She told police several people in the bar shook hands with her but she did not notice when the ring was removed.
