The ballot for Taneytown elections features Henry C. Heine Jr. running unopposed for mayor, and three candidates running for two seats on the City Council.

Incumbent Brian E. Long is running to keep a seat on the council. He was appointed by council members three years ago to fill a vacancy.

Also running are Darryl G. Hale and Bobby G. Wales Sr.

The election will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. May 3 at City Hall.
