Howard County police responding a 911 hang-up call Tuesday night discovered $2,000 worth of marijuana in a North Laurel home, leading to two arrests, police said.
Officers went to Cross Street after someone called 911 and hung up.
When they arrived, a woman told them she and her live-in boyfriend were fighting. Inside the residence, officers found a man sitting next to three marijuana plants and drug paraphernalia, said police spokesman Sgt. Morris Carroll.
Police charged Patrick Edward Goodloe, 19, and Kimberly Carol Roberts, 18, of Laurel with drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and drug possession with the intent to distribute, a felony.
Goodloe and Roberts were granted a $25,000 unsecured bond and were scheduled to appear at a bail review hearing today.
