No. 2 Saints lose again, 15-6; Loss at home is second in row for St. Mary's; Boys lacrosse

John Cummings scored five goals and Kyle Bell scored three goals and had two assists as sixth-ranked Loyola won its fifth game in the past six outtings, 15-6, over second-ranked St. Mary's.

Loyola improved to 7-3 with its Maryland Scholastic Athletic Association's A Conference win. St. Mary's dropped to 6-2 after a 6-0 start.

T.J. Morton scored a goal and had four assists, and Brian Miller had two goals and a pair of assists for the Dons, who have suffered one-goal losses to No. 3 Boys' Latin and Bethesda's Landon, the Washington area's top-ranked team.

Loyola first of the season came at the hands of fifth-ranked St. Paul's by a score of 9-4.

For St. Mary's, Leo Crane had two goals and an assist.

The Saints, ranked No. 1 last week, had victories over defending league champ Gilman, now ranked No. 1, and St. Paul's but were beaten at Landon, 12-4, on Friday.
