Winfield: Firefighters from Winfield, Sykesville and Gamber responded at 6: 32 p.m. Thursday to smoke in a house on Winding Way. Units were out 25 minutes.

Mount Airy: Firefighters assisted Howard County at 10: 07 a.m. Thursday, responding to an auto fire at Routes 70 and 94. Units were out 10 minutes.
