A Business section article March 24 incorrectly stated that Boeing Corp. claimed a 1994 airplane crash near Pittsburgh was caused by pilot error. While company officials have disputed claims that a mechanical failure caused the crash, and have suggested that pilot error was a possible cause, they maintain that there is not enough evidence to reach a conclusion.
