Steve Pyzik had a single, double and triple, lacking only a home run for the cycle, as 19th-ranked Loyola defeated 13th-ranked and host Dulaney, 5-4, yesterday.
It was the fourth straight win over a ranked team by Loyola (4-0), which last week edged then-No. 2 Mount St. Joseph, and on Monday defeated No. 3 Calvert Hall, 12-9. The Dons opened the season with a 10-9 win over Chesapeake of Anne Arundel County, a Class 4A state champion in 1997.
Brian Mosser, a Dulaney senior, had a home run for the Lions (2-1), who overcame a 3-0 deficit with a three-run fourth inning.
