Howard County police are investigating the suspicious death of a 22-year-old Ellicott City man, whose severely burned body was discovered Monday morning at Cypressmeade Park.

A neighbor walking his dogs found the body about 10: 45 a.m. Police found a gasoline can and the man's car nearby, said Sgt. Morris Carroll, a police spokesman.

The body was sent to the state medical examiner's office to determine the cause of death. Police said they will release the name of the man after report is completed.

The last time anyone reported talking to the man was Sunday night, police said.
