Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Central District

Robbery: A man struck his former girlfriend in the face with a handgun during an argument in the 1600 block of Argyle Ave. about 7 p.m. Saturday and robbed her of more than $600. Police said the woman was advised to seek a warrant for his arrest.

Robbery: A man, 18, was riding his red 21-speed Raleigh trail bicycle in the 700 block of N. Calvert St. about 5 p.m. Saturday when a gunman robbed him of the bicycle, valued at more than $200, and his wallet containing $80.

Theft from vehicle: Clothing valued at more than $1,000 was stolen Saturday from a 1996 Ford parked in the 400 block of W. Pratt St.

Burglary/arrest: A man was arrested Saturday and charged with burglary, destruction of property and theft after the owner of a dwelling in the 1800 block of Eutaw Place discovered he was living there illegally. The landlord said the man collected rent from lawful tenants after telling them he was the landlord. The man destroyed a refrigerator, furnace, the kitchen and flooded a bathroom, causing $40,000 damage while he lived there. Police said Robert People, 41, who gave the Eutaw Place dwelling as his address, collected almost $800 in rent from tenants. It was not known how long he had lived in the house.

Southern District

Theft: Three payroll checks totaling more than $500 were stolen Friday from a house in the 1800 block of W. Lombard St.

Southwestern District

Shooting: A man, 19, was in the 3100 block of W. North Ave. about 7: 15 p.m. Saturday when a gunman chased him and shot him in the left leg. He was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Burglary: A television, videocassette recorder and other property, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Saturday from a house in the 3200 block of Windsor Ave.

Robbery: A man was seated on the No. 20 Mass Transit Administration bus in the 4400 block of Old Frederick Road about 2: 15 p.m. Saturday when the man next to him pulled a handgun and demanded his money. After the victim gave the gunman more than $40, they got off the bus and walked in opposite directions. The victim reported the robbery when he arrived home.

Gun stolen: A stainless-steel Pucara .38-caliber revolver was stolen from a house in the 2300 block of N. Rosedale St. between Thursday and Saturday.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Robbery: A woman, 25, was walking in the first block of Investment Place about 11: 30 p.m. Friday when she was assaulted by three men who robbed her of $200. She was not injured.

Garrison Precinct

Robbery: Two men robbed the Exxon service station in the 10300 block of Red Run Blvd. in Owings Mills of more than $300 about 3 a.m. Saturday. They drove away in an unknown make and model white sports car with unknown tags.

North Point Precinct

Theft: A 9.9-horsepower outboard motor valued at $70 was stolen between Tuesday and Saturday from Rudy's Marina in the 4300 block of Shore Road.
