Neimeyer chief executive of KCI Technologies

KCI Technologies Inc. named Terry F. Neimeyer chief executive officer of the Hunt Valley-based engineering firm. He succeeds Jack Kinslinger, who will remain chairman of the employee-owned firm. KCI Technologies operates 20 offices in eight states. A 1977 engineering graduate of the University of Delaware, Neimeyer joined KCI that year and has served in a number of increasingly responsible jobs. He was named president in 1995. Neimeyer also holds graduate degrees in engineering and business. He is secretary of the Consulting Engineers Council of Maryland and a member of several professional, civic and charitable organizations including the Water Environment Federation and the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.

Eisner names Chase-Hyman account supervisor

Eisner, Petrou & Associates named Paula Chase-Hyman an account supervisor for the regional ad agency. The Annapolis resident, a graduate of James Madison University, is former director of planning and development for the Maryland Rural Development Corp., a regional human services agency. She is a member of several professional and community organizations, including Committed Black Women, of which she is a co-founder, and the Public Relations Society of America.

Schwartzman is principal at Hodes; Cagle associate

Hodes, Ulman Pessin & Katz promoted Steven B. Schwartzman to principal, and admitted David A. Cagle as an associate of the Towson-based law firm.

Schwartzman, whose practice focuses on employment relations and litigation, has been with the firm for 11 years. An Owings Mills resident, he is a law graduate of the University of Maryland. Cagle, an Owings Mills resident, received his law degree from the University of Virginia. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.

Health care

Kaiser appoints Lovell community relations chief

Kaiser Permanente named Sue Lovell as its Baltimore area director of community relations. She had been the director of the USF&G; Foundation.

A Baltimore resident, she is an MBA candidate at Loyola College and is active with the Combined Health Agencies, the Association of Baltimore Grantmakers and the St. Frances Academy.

Horobin is senior VP, development, at EntreMed

EntreMed Inc. appointed Joanna C. Horobin, M.D. senior vice president of commercial development. She will direct commercial development efforts including strategic partnerships, product portfolio management, marketing and medical affairs for the firm's product launches.

A graduate of the University of Manchester Medical School in England, she was a vice president at Rhone-Poulenc Rorer before joining Rockville-based EntreMed. She spent several years in hospital and general family practice in London.
