Two men are wounded by gunfire outside restaurant in Little Italy

THE BALTIMORE SUN

Multiple gunshots fired outside a restaurant on the edge of Little Italy shortly past midnight yesterday wounded two men in an area popular with tourists and late diners.

The two men, thought by police to be bystanders near an argument, were shot and wounded after emerging from Mo's Fisherman's Wharf restaurant at President and Stiles streets about 12: 15 a.m.

The victims -- Marvin Kosh, 26, of the 1500 block of N. Carey St., and Nolan Evans, 28, of the 3700 block of Washington Ave. in Randallstown -- told officers they saw a large group nearby and heard arguing, followed by several shots. The men began to run, then realized they had been wounded.

Kosh, who was hit in the stomach, left leg and calf, was picked up by a passing motorist, but the driver saw police arriving and stopped so Kosh could speak with them and be treated. Evans got into another car, but stopped at Albemarle Street, where he was transferred to an ambulance.

Both were reported in good condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
