Baltimore City

Eastern District

Shooting: A man, 25, who was arguing with another man in the 1500 block of Holbrook St. about 12: 30 a.m. Tuesday, was shot in the back, right shoulder and left leg when he turned to walk away. The gunman escaped and the victim was in serious condition yesterday at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Southern District

Theft: Six generators valued at $3,000 were stolen Tuesday from Multimarine Services Inc. in the 1100 block of Frankfurst Ave.

Southwestern District

Robbery: Two gunmen took more than $7,000 worth of scrap gold and several pieces of gold jewelry from Shine Corner Pawn Shop in the first block of S. Hilton St. about 4 p.m. Tuesday. The men tied up an employee and a customer and removed the tape from a security camera.

Robbery: Two gunmen robbed a man of $100 about 11 p.m. Tuesday in the 2000 block of Hollins St.

Burglary: Welding equipment valued at $1,200 was stolen Tuesday from Arctic Refrigeration in the 1000 block of S. Dukeland St.

Central District

Stolen car: A 1988 Oldsmobile with tags ZLK 112 was stolen Tuesday in the first block of Hopkins Place.

Baltimore County

Wilkens Precinct

Robbery: A man took an undisclosed sum of money from Bettina's Flower Boutique in the 4000 block of Wilkens Ave. about 3 p.m. yesterday and drove off in a black Dodge Neon with a rear spoiler.

Robbery: A man who implied he was armed with a handgun robbed NeighborCare Pharmacy in the 800 block of N. Rolling Road of an undisclosed sum of money about 2: 30 p.m. Tuesday.

Parkville Precinct

Robbery/arrest: A gunman robbed Perring Exxon in the 7300 block of McClean Blvd. of an undisclosed sum of money and cartons of cigarettes about 3 p.m. yesterday. A short time later, police arrested a suspect near the scene. He was being held at the White Marsh Precinct, pending charges.

Burglary: More than 2,000 scratch-off state lottery tickets were stolen Tuesday from Beltway Liquors in the 7600 block of Belair Road.

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: A woman, 23, left the Target store in the 5200 block of Campbell Blvd. about 6: 25 p.m. Tuesday and was walking to her car when a man placed an unknown weapon in her back and robbed her of $3.

Essex Precinct

Robbery/arrest: A man was leaving a house in the 1200 block of Sugarwood Circle about 10 p.m. Tuesday when another man hit him over the head with a metal pipe and robbed him of $730. Minutes later, police arrested a suspect. Dominic George Thornton, 24, of the 900 block of Foxridge Road was charged with armed robbery and was being held without bail at the precinct. The victim was treated at Franklin Square Hospital Center and released.

Towson Precinct

Robbery: A woman, 50, was entering an apartment building in the 6900 block of Donachie Road about 8 p.m. Tuesday when a man knocked her down and stole her purse containing cash and property, all of unknown value. The man escaped in a red two-door Pontiac driven by a second man.
