The appeal will be heard in Circuit Court after both parties receive transcripts of the previous hearings, said Assistant Baltimore State's Attorney Ann Refolo. Store owner Allen Becker filed an appeal March 10.
Police and residents charged that Becker's store, Springhill Market, at 2900 Springhill Ave. in Lower Park Heights, was used for drug-trafficking. On March 1, the judge ordered the store demolished.

Transportation officer charged with DWI, speeding
BRADSHAW -- A Maryland Transportation Authority Police officer was charged with driving while intoxicated after another motorist's car was sideswiped, Maryland State Police said yesterday.
A state trooper stopped Thomas E. F. Smith, 25, on Interstate 95 near the Bradshaw Road overpass about 4: 30 a.m. Saturday after radar registered Smith driving 89 mph in a 65 mph zone, according to state police. While the trooper was talking to Smith, a second motorist stopped and told the trooper that Smith had failed to stop after sideswiping her car.
Smith was charged with driving while intoxicated, speeding and leaving the scene of an accident, state police said. He has been suspended with pay pending the outcome of his trial, said Lori Vidil, a Maryland Transportation Authority Police spokeswoman.
