Carolyn West Price, president of IMPACT Marketing and Public Relations in Ellicott City, was the 1999 winner of the Equal Business Opportunity "Outstanding Individual Achievement Award" -- one of four awards presented at the ceremony Feb. 18. Debra Wynne has joined First American Management as the company's first in-house attorney. Ellicott City-based First American provides property management services for condominium and homeowner associations in the Baltimore metropolitan area.
Wynne's responsibilities include collecting delinquent association dues, resolving disputes and providing legal guidance for First American's clients.
Andrea Griesman has been named senior vice president, human resources, for the Columbia Bank, a full-service commercial bank in Howard County. In her new position, she will oversee its human resources department, which includes recruitment, employee development and administration activities. Working with a staff of four, she will focus on enhancing training initiatives. She will be responsible for developing the bank's new Customer Call Center.
William N. Chalfant of Ellicott City has joined the Farmers and Mechanics National Bank as unit manager for commercial lending. He will work at the bank's office at 5565 Sterrett Place in Columbia, Chalfant has been involved in commercial lending for 17 years in the Baltimore/Washington market.
John M. Midolo has been appointed center director of Sheppard Pratt Health System at Howard County, an outpatient behavior health clinic in Columbia. He will oversee administrative and clinical operations.
Tim Storch has joined Farmers and Mechanics Bank as vice presi- dent/commercial lender in Howard County. Storch has been in the banking industry for 13 years as a commercial relationship manager for small- to medium-sized companies, eight of those in the Howard market. He is an economic development commissioner for Sykesville and is on the board of directors of Cars for Careers. Schiller, Holinsky and Gardyn of Owings Mills has announced that it has joined Polaris International North American Network. Polaris International is an association of independently owned accounting and consulting firms. Membership gives the company access to an expanded network of resources and services. With its addition, Polaris International North American Network grows to 70 members.
