THE BALTIMORE SUN

An Owings Mills man, arrested on charges that he twice failed to appear in court on a bad check charge, was charged at the Carroll County jail with carrying drugs, court records show.

Mikhail Korsunsky, 26, of the 200 block of Pittston Circle is being held at the Carroll County Detention Center in lieu of $7,500 bail.

Korsunsky was accused 11 months ago of paying a Finksburg body shop for auto repairs by writing a check for $722 without sufficient funds in his bank account, court records show.

At 3: 40 p.m., bail was set at $5,000, court records show.

At 9: 36 p.m., Deputy 1st Class Jennings Martin summoned state police to the detention center, saying that while he was conducting a strip search of the prisoner, he saw the inmate place two vials under a table.

Martin reported that he retrieved the vials, which contained a white powdery substance.

An additional $2,500 bail was set after Korsunsky was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, court records show.
