Baltimore City
Central District
Robbery: A man, 57, was in the first block of W. North Ave. about 2: 30 p.m. Tuesday when another man armed with an unknown weapon robbed him of jewelry valued at $60.
Southern District
Theft: A backpack containing medical books and a stethoscope, all valued at more than $300, was stolen Tuesday from a 1994 Honda Civic parked in the 300 block of S. Eutaw St. The property belonged to a Baltimore Fire Department medic.
Eastern District
Assault: A male, 13, was in the 2400 block of E. Federal St. about 10 p.m. Tuesday when three older males hit him with their fists and a large chunk of concrete. He was in serious condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
Western District
Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 2200 block of W. North Ave. through a rear door Tuesday and stole nearly $2,000.
Baltimore County
Garrison Precinct
Burglary/arrest: After a burglar alarm at Pikesville Hardware in the 800 block of Reisterstown Road went off about 12: 15 a.m. Monday, Officer Michael Brooks responded and followed a set of shoe prints in fresh snow that led to a house a few blocks away in the 100 block of Clarendon Ave. While talking to the occupant outside the house, Brooks noticed the man's shoe prints matched those leading from the store. Brooks reported that entry to the store was gained through a roof vent and that no property was reported stolen. Charles Owings, 34, was charged with burglary.
White Marsh Precinct
Burglary: A generator valued at $1,400 was stolen Feb. 13 from Dennis Davison Inc., an electrical company in the 8300 block of Pulaski Highway. The theft was reported Tuesday.
North Point Precinct
Stolen car: A 1996 Dodge Stratus with no tags and valued at $6,400 was stolen between March 1 and Tuesday from Don White's Car Center in the 100 block of North Point Blvd.
Theft/arrests: Two East Baltimore men were arrested Tuesday when they tried to leave Value City department store in the 7800 block of Eastern Blvd. without paying for clothing valued at $29.
Cockeysville Precinct
Burglary: Power tools, drill bits, sockets and a leaf blower, all valued at more than $1,300, were stolen from a shed in the 14300 block of Cuba Road during the weekend.
