Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northeastern District

Robbery try: Two men attempted to rob a woman outside an apartment building in the 2300 block of Pentland Road about 10: 40 p.m. Monday but fled when someone approached.

Robbery: A man, 39, was in the 6100 block of Ridgeview Ave. about 9 p.m. Monday when he was attacked by two men who robbed him of more than $400. The victim was treated at Franklin Square Hospital Center and released.

Burglary: Property valued at more than $1,400 was stolen Monday from a house in the 4400 block of Moravia Road.

Southern District

Theft from vehicles: Tools and several pieces of equipment, all valued at nearly $500, were stolen from a 1995 Ford van parked Monday on a lot in the 2200 block of Russell St. At the same location Monday, tools valued at more than $500 were stolen from a 1997 Ford van.

Theft: Computer equipment valued at $800 was stolen Monday from a 1994 Plymouth van parked in the 1800 block of W. Pratt St.

Stolen car: A two-door 1984 Mercury with tags FXT 762 was stolen Monday in the 3400 block of Sixth St. in Brooklyn.

Stolen car: A 1985 Mercury Zephyr with tags ETN 163 was stolen Monday in the 2900 block of Rayshire Ave.

Eastern District

Robbery: A boy, 12, was riding his bicycle in the 400 block of E. 20th St. about 5 p.m. Monday when a man he knows shoved him to the pavement and stole the bicycle, valued at more than $200. The bicycle's serial number is HCL8H30674. The child was not injured, and his parents were advised to seek a warrant for the man's arrest.

Theft from vehicle: The owner of a 1985 Chevrolet parked her car on a lot across from the Central Booking and Intake Center in the 400 block of E. Eager St. about 8 p.m. Monday. While she was inside the facility, someone stole a purse and its contents, all valued at more than $200, from the car.

Theft from vehicle: A combination TV/videocassette recorder valued at nearly $300 was stolen Monday from a 1997 Geo Prizm parked in the 800 block of N. Wolfe St.

Theft/arrest: A man, 37, was arrested Monday when he tried to leave Stop, Shop & Save supermarket in the 900 block of N. Caroline St. without paying for two bars of soap and five steaks, all valued at more than $32. A store security officer detained the man for police.

Western District

Rape: Police were seeking a man who raped a woman behind a house in the 2200 block of Reisterstown Road early yesterday. The woman was treated at Mercy Medical Center.

Burglary: Kitchen furniture and appliances were stolen March 12 from a house in the 1900 block of W. Baltimore St. The burglary was reported Monday.

Burglary: Compact discs and stereo equipment, all valued at $300, were stolen yesterday from a house in the 1700 block of Braddish Ave. The thief entered through a rear door.

Baltimore County

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered the office of a certified public accountant in the 3600 block of E. Joppa Road through a basement door between Saturday and Monday and stole more than $100.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: About $300 was stolen from an office at Integrated Health Services in the 10000 block of Red Run Blvd. in Owings Mills over the weekend.

Wilkens Precinct

Robbery: A gunman robbed the Royal Farms store in the 4300 block of Washington Blvd. of an undisclosed sum of money about 9 p.m. Monday.
