Northwestern District
Carjacking: An unlicensed taxi driver drove a male passenger about 1: 30 p.m. yesterday from Park Heights and Wylie avenues to the 4800 block of Pimlico Road. The passenger pulled a handgun, ordered the hacker out of the vehicle and drove off in a 4-door, 1993 burgundy Plymouth Acclaim with tags FTG 203.
Central District
Burglary: Someone entered Mick O'Shea's, a tavern in the 300 block of N. Charles St., through a rear door early yesterday and took $100 from a cash register.
Theft from vehicle: Tools valued at more than $500 were stolen yesterday from a 1998 Mercury in the 400 block of St. Paul St.
Robbery: A man, 51, was in the first block of S. Calvert St. about 9 a.m. yesterday when a man who implied he was armed with a handgun robbed him of $60.
Eastern District
Theft: A cellular telephone valued at $50 was stolen Sunday from the bedroom of a house in the 400 block of E. Biddle St.
Burglary: A television of unknown value was stolen Sunday from a house in the 2300 block of Greenmount Ave.
Burglary: A television valued at $400 was stolen Sunday from a house in the 400 block of E. 23rd St.
Robbery: A woman, 35, was in the 1200 block of Greenmount Ave. about 1 a.m. Sunday when a man she knows struck her with his fists and robbed her of $40.
Theft/arrest: A woman, 33, was arrested Sunday when she tried to leave the Rite Aid store in the 2200 block of E. Monument St. without paying for medicine valued at $15.
Stolen car: A blue 4-door 1994 Jeep with tags ACW 11L was stolen Sunday in the 1300 block of N. Central Ave. while the owner was at a nearby church.
Northern District
Stolen car: A 1990 Subaru station wagon with tags FBK 998 was stolen Sunday in the 600 block of E. 43rd St.
Theft: A wooden door valued at $400 was stolen Feb. 24 from a house in the 500 block of Oakland Ave. The theft was reported Sunday.
Burglary: Someone entered an apartment in the 4400 block of Fallsbridge Road Sunday and stole a 5-inch television, a second television, several videotapes, cash, coins and a camera, all valued at nearly $700.
Baltimore County
Parkville Precinct
Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 2100 block of Pitney Road through a rear dining room window early Sunday, entered the master bedroom while the occupants slept and stole jewelry and a purse containing cash and other property, all valued at more than $1,400.
Garrison Precinct
Burglary: Jewelry valued at $60,000 was stolen from Gold Mine Limited in the 500 block of Main St. in Reisterstown. The thief entered through a door between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. Sunday.
For the Record
Victim named: Police have identified the man found dead and wrapped in a blanket Friday night in the 4500 block of Ridge Ave. in Northwest Baltimore as Ronald Akinsehinwa, 20, of the 6900 block of Reisterstown Road. Detective Martin Young said yesterday that Akinsehinwa, a former employee of a McDonald's restaurant, died from multiple blows to the head. Young said no arrest had been made, and a motive for the killing was unknown.
