Annapolis publication names Wilner associate publisher

Call Center Management Review appointed Ann Wilner associate publisher. She will work to expand the circulation and readership of the Annapolis-based trade publication and newsletter to an international level.

In the business-to-business publishing industry for 15 years, she formerly was marketing manager for UCG home care division, where she was responsible for its line of home health publications. The Annapolis resident is a graduate of the University of Colorado and is active in several civic and community organizations, including Parents & Children Together.

Brooks to be sales manager at Snow Valley Water

Snow Valley Spring Water named Craig Brooks as sales manager for the Prince George's County-based bottler and distributor of bottled water. He is responsible for new business development and continued product growth.

An Ellicott City resident, the Johns Hopkins University graduate formerly was director of the Terrapin Club at the University of Maryland.

RM&D; promotes Ostmann to VP, PR team leader

Richardson, Myers & Donofrio promoted Rosemary Ostmann to vice president and public relations team leader. She had been a senior public relations counselor for the Baltimore-based advertising/marketing agency. A graduate of the University of Maryland, she is active in the local chapter of the Public Relations Society of America and sits on the board of Hands on Baltimore.

Finnegan vice president at Crestar Bank

Crestar Bank appointed Dennis E. Finnegan a vice president and team leader of its Maryland region private banking group, a unit of Crestar Investment Group. He will oversee new business development and manage private banking operations.

A law graduate of the University of Baltimore, the Towson resident formerly was a vice president with Rockville-based CDA Investment Technologies.

Ober, Kaler names Denbow chief of human resources

Ober, Kaler, Grimes & Shriver named Jane L. Denbow as the Baltimore-based regional law firm's human resources administrator.

The Towson University graduate lives in Lutherville and previously was human resources manager for Maryland Casualty/Zurich Commercial. She is a Society for Human Resources Management senior professional.

McLean names Garvey to accounting, fraud post

McLean, Koehler, Sparks & Hammond appointed Robert A. Garvey Jr. head of its forensic accounting and fraud investigation practice. He will assist businesses in fraud prevention and detection, and attorneys in interpretation and evaluation of accounting and finance issues.

A University of Maryland graduate, the Gaithersburg resident is a member of several professional organizations.

Suzdak, Brennan are VPs at Guilford Pharmaceuticals

Guilford Pharmaceuticals Inc. appointed two senior vice presidents: Peter D. Suzdak for research and development, and John P. Brennan for technical operations and general manager, drug-delivery business.

Suzdak integrates and leads efforts to discover and evaluate drugs for neurological disorders. Brennan directs efforts to expand drug-delivery products for cancer.
