Westminster Bank announces appointments

Westminster Bank & Trust Co. board of directors has announced new appointments:

Ferdinand A. Ruppel Jr. was named chairman of the board and will continue as chief executive officer.

Beverly J. Fisher was named assistant vice president and branch manager of the Eldersburg office.

Christine L. Hastings was named assistant treasurer and branch manager of the Union Mills office.

The bank has 10 branches serving Carroll and Howard counties.
