Late goals lift Blast to victory over 'Cats, 8-6

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Barry Stitz and Mark Thomas scored late in the fourth quarter to give the Blast (17-16) an 8-6 victory over the Florida Thundercats (12-20) in a National Professional Soccer League game last night.

Stitz broke a 4-4 tie with a two-pointer at 6: 24 of the fourth quarter, before Thomas scored at 9: 30 to make it 8-4.

The Thundercats' Willy Guimmarra completed his hat trick with a two-point goal at 14: 49 to provide for the final margin.
