St. Patty's Day Parade
Celebrate the luck of the Irish, Eastern Shore style, with a St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday in Ocean City. Cheer on more than 100 parade participants, including bands, step dancers, floats and marching units, which will follow the parade route along Coastal Highway to the 45th Street Village. Enjoy a festival with a variety of food and drink before and after the parade.
The parade steps off at noon and proceeds along Coastal Highway, from 61st Street to the 45th Street Village. The event is sponsored by the Delmarva Irish American Club. Call 410-289-6156 or 800-OC-OCEAN.
Antiques in Alexandria
American furniture, paintings, books, silver and decorative items are offered by 51 dealers at the third annual "Antiques in Alexandria," tomorrow through Sunday in Alexandria, Va. An exhibit of antique cast-iron toys and banks will be displayed around a vintage 1852 fire truck.
The show takes place in Flippin Field House, Episcopal High School, 3900 Braddock Road. Hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission of $10 includes a catalog. Call 703-549-5922.
