Urick's 7 goals lead Georgetown; No. 8 Hoyas top Butler; Hopkins women rout Mount

Senior attackman Scott Urick scored a career-high seven goals, and senior All-American Greg McCavera contributed three goals and four assists to lead No. 8 Georgetown (3-0) to a 22-16 men's lacrosse victory yesterday over No. 14 Butler in Kissimmee, Fla.

Mike Nicolosi led the Bulldogs (1-3), who outshot Georgetown 33-32, with five goals. Doug Patterson scored three and Chris Vosburgh and Cory Kahoun added two each.

Women

Johns Hopkins 19, Mount St. Mary's 4: Freshmen Erinn Dennis and Jamie Larrimore scored four goals each and Nancy Kim, Danielle Maschuci and Erin Wellner added three apiece to lead the Blue Jays (2-0) to a rout of the visiting Mountaineers (1-2).

The Mount got goals from Amy Harris, Christine Fee, Michelle Coates and Erica Hensley.
