Baltimore City

Northeastern District

Drug raid: Police seized three Volvo automobiles, a 9 mm handgun, nearly $59,000 in cash and arrested two people during a drug raid yesterday afternoon. Members of the district's drug enforcement unit also recovered $1,000 worth of suspected marijuana and a few thousand dollars worth of suspected crack cocaine in the 4 p.m. raid on a house in the 3500 block of Brendan Ave., said Sgt. William Sekinger. Owen Robinson, 32, of the raided premises and Ameerah Abdul-Muhaimin, 21, of the 6000 block of Marjorie Lane were arrested and charged with distribution of narcotics and conspiracy to distribute narcotics and other offenses. Sekinger said police raided another house about 11 p.m. in the 3200 block of W. Rogers Ave., which authorities believe is connected to Abdul-Muhaimin. Police recovered $30,000 in cash, a kilogram of cocaine and a 9 mm handgun. Officers from the Baltimore-Washington branch of the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area program, a federal crime prevention effort, assisted in the raids.

Eastern District

Assault and robbery: A man, 67, reported about 5 p.m. Tuesday that he saw a man who appeared unconscious, lying under a bridge in the 4100 block of E. Monument St. When he tried to help, the man jumped up, cut him on the left hand and an eye with a razor blade and stole his wallet, which contained $80 in cash. The suspect was wearing a brown jacket and nylon sweater.

Auto theft: A cabdriver, 22, reported that his Checker Cab, a 1995 Ford, was stolen about 2: 30 a.m. Tuesday in the 1900 block of Belair Road. Police said he had left the car running while he made a telephone call.

Central District

Robbery: A man, 35, said another man took his laptop computer from him about 3: 40 p.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of Cathedral St. The computer was valued at $2,000.

Burglary: A man, 37, reported about 8: 10 a.m. Tuesday that $395 worth of tools and other goods were stolen from his home in the 2500 block of Madison Ave.

Southeastern District

Larceny from auto: A 500-watt portable generator, valued at $1,000, was stolen between Monday and yesterday from a truck parked in the 800 block of North Point Road.

Larceny from auto: A man reported that a Motorola cellular telephone was stolen from his 1989 Buick in the 300 block of S. Eden St. between 8: 30 a.m. and 11: 30 a.m. yesterday. The phone was valued at $100.

Baltimore County

North Point Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered the H & R Block tax preparation office on Shipping Place between 11: 15 p.m. Monday night and 8: 50 a.m. Tuesday and stole $315 from the cash register.

Burglary: Someone entered a home in the 2900 block of York Way between 6 p.m. Monday and 6: 30 a.m. Tuesday and stole a videocassette recorder, a plastic jug and coins valued at $155.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: A woman, 25, reported that compact discs, video games and medical syringes were stolen from her home in the 1000 block of Halstead Road between 8 a.m. Monday and 8: 30 a.m. Tuesday.
