Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Destruction of property: Someone threw a stick and broke a window in a home in the 500 block of N. Belnord Ave. about 11 a.m. yesterday, causing $100 in damage.

Larceny: Between 9 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. yesterday, someone sawed off a padlock on a 1997 Chevrolet delivery truck in the 1700 block of Fleet St. and stole six antique mahogany chairs, valued at about $500.

Western District

Larceny: Police arrested Shanay Davis, 29, of the 1200 block of Augusta Ave. on larceny charges about 7: 15 p.m. Sunday after a candy bar was shoplifted at a 7-Eleven store in the 2700 block of Franklin St.

Theft: Someone approached a woman in the 2600 block of Reisterstown Road about 7: 30 p.m. Sunday and stole her purse, which contained about $20.

Southwestern District

Stolen vehicle: Someone stole a 1985 white GMC van from the 300 block of S. Dukeland St. about 10 a.m. yesterday. The estimated value of the vehicle is $4,000.

Larceny from auto: About $300 worth of tools and drills were stolen from a Bell Atlantic telephone company van in the 2200 block of Wilkens Ave. about 3: 30 p.m. yesterday.

Central District

Armed assault and robbery: Two young men who said they were armed with a firearm robbed a Southern High School student of his Bo Jackson athletic shoes about 8: 15 a.m. yesterday in the 200 block of E. Saratoga St.

Theft: A Raleigh mountain bicycle was stolen from the first block of S. Calvert St. between 4: 15 p.m. and 4: 25 p.m. yesterday. The owner of the bicycle was making a delivery and left his bike against the wall, police said.

Baltimore County

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Someone broke a window and entered Winands Elementary School in the 8300 block of Scotts Level Road about 8 a.m. yesterday. A radio antenna was broken, and a classroom door window was smashed. About $12 was stolen. Damage was estimated at about $150.

Burglary: About 11: 20 p.m. Sunday, someone used a hammer to break a glass pane in a door window and entered a house in the 3600 block of Forest Grove Ave. Taken were two keys that open the basement doors in the home.

Attempted burglary: Someone pried open the door to a construction trailer in the 10200 block of Reisterstown Road about 6: 30 a.m. yesterday. Police said no one entered the trailer.

Cockeysville Precinct

Destruction of property: Between 10: 30 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. yesterday, a glass sign was broken in front of Loch Raven High School in the 1200 block of Cowpens Ave.

Essex Precinct

Burglary: Between 5 p.m. Saturday and noon Sunday, someone stole an electric stove from a home in the 1600 block of Hopewell Ave.

Attempted burglary: A roof vent was forced open and a security light sensor broken at Seneca Elementary School in the 500 block of Carrollwood Road between 11 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. yesterday. Police said the building was not entered.
