Petitions are in circulation for a site for the Annapolis public building, for which Congress appropriated $100,000. -- The Sun, March 5, 1899.

The Annapolis Electric Light Co. is extending its contract with Annapolis for five years. The 47 arc lights cost the city 25 cents each a night. -- The Sun, March 12, 1899.

The guns of the Spanish cruiser Viscaya have been mounted at the U.S. Naval Academy. Other trophies of the Spanish war have been received. -- The Sun, March 12, 1899.

The Sisters of All Saints, Baltimore, will assume control of the Chase Home, Annapolis, for aged, homeless and infirm women. -- The Sun, March 13, 1899.
