Bowie women fall, 81-70

FLORENCE, S.C. -- Dion Thornton's 20 points led four players in double figures yesterday as No. 10 Kennesaw State beat Bowie State, 81-70, in the women's NCAA Division II South Atlantic Regional tournament semifinals at Francis Marion University.

Tiffany Moss led the Bulldogs (25-4) with 15 points, nine rebounds and six steals. Trenita Shields scored 14 points and Beverly Winstead had 11.
