FREDERICK -- The Catonsville Community College women's team went on a 17-5 run in the final eight minutes to defeat CC of Allegheny, 68-58, in the quarterfinals of the National JuCo Region XX tournament last night.

Robin Johnson scored 19 points for Catonsville, which next faces Frederick CC or Garrett CC tonight at 7.

CATONSVILLE CC -- Hill 14, Moore 3, Baker 6, Berry 4, Payne 3, Johnson 19, Torrez 10, Lacks 9. Totals 27 10-16 68.

CC of ALLEGHENY -- Harderman 19, S.Wmcha 8, Schultz 5, Psluger 26. Totals 20 16-24 58.

Halftime: Catonsville, 30-25.
