Fires

Westminster: Firefighters from Westminster, Reese, Pleasant Valley and Manchester responded at 4: 47 a.m. yesterday to a building fire in the 1200 block of Gorsuch Road. Units were out 20 minutes.

Reese: Firefighters responded at 11: 57 a.m. Saturday to a brush fire at Routes 140 and 91. Units were out one hour and eight minutes.

Westminster: Firefighters responded at 8: 40 p.m. Friday to a fire alarm in the 100 block of Railroad Ave. Units were out 12 minutes.

Police

Westminster: A volunteer with Gamber & Community Volunteer Fire Company told police Wednesday that property was taken from his department vehicle while it was in Westminster. Loss is estimated at $6,000.

Westminster: A resident of Westminster Avenue told police Friday that garage buildings on the property were spray-painted. Damage is estimated at $300.

Westminster: A resident of Lincoln Road told police Friday that his vehicle was spray-painted. Damage is estimated at $100.

Westminster: A resident of East Green Street told police Friday that paint was stolen and his vehicle spray-painted. Damage is estimated at $106.

Westminster: Maryland Bookkeeping and Tax Service on Pennsylvania Avenue told police Saturday that an object was thrown through the window. Damage is estimated at $250.

Westminster: An employee of Stewart Dutterer Flower Shop on Pennsylvania Avenue told police Saturday that a vehicle was damaged while parked behind the business. Damage is estimated at $285.
