"I liked 'Tricky Tortoise' by Mwenye Hadithi because I can picture the story in my mind. The author wrote lots of details in the story. I could see turtle and elephant having a contest and a feast. It is a great fable."

"The book I read was 'Mickey and the Beanstalk' by Walt Disney. One of the reasons I like this book is because it is kind of ridiculous. It is ridiculous because a mouse can't climb a beanstalk, or sell things. Another reason I like this book is that is has magnificent pictures. If you like 'Jack and the Beanstalk,' you will like 'Mickey and the Beanstalk.' "

" 'Our Solar System' by Seymor Simon is my favorite book because my grandmother gave this book to me, and it's real life. I can learn about planets such as Jupiter, Mars, Pluto, Saturn and Mercury. I like this book because I like to learn about the planets because I think aliens are on the planets."
