Johns Hopkins won its fifth Centennial Conference West Division women's basketball title last night with a 65-60 victory over visiting Western Maryland.
Hopkins, which was led by Katie Fitzgerald's 12 points, extended its 13-point halftime lead to as much as 16.
The Blue Jays (19-4, 12-1) will play host to either Washington College or Ursinus and the Green Terror (17-7, 11-3) plays East champion Muhlenberg in next Wednesday's semifinals.
Western Maryland's Kathi Snyder scored 20 of her 23 points in the second half.
Ursinus 63, Washington College 57: Shana Goane scored 23 points to power the Bears (10-13, 7-7) past the Shorewomen (14-8, 8-6) in a Centennial Conference game.
Bowie State 46, Elizabeth City State 40: Rashida Brooks scored 13 and Tiffany Moss 12 to lift the Bulldogs past the Vikings.
Men
Elizabeth City State 93, Bowie State 78: Burudi Bembury scored 19 and the Vikings outscored the Bulldogs 18-3 in the third overtime to win. Bowie State's James Rice led all scorers with 37.
