Theft: Tools valued at more than $1,000 were stolen Saturday from a 1998 Dodge Ram pickup truck parked in the 1700 block of Light St.
Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a man, 21, of his 1999 Buick in the 1800 block of Poplar Grove St. about 4: 30 p.m. Saturday. A short time later, the abandoned car was recovered in the 2200 block of Denison St.
Stolen car: Someone stole a red, four-door 1997 Chevrolet with tags EHK 177 as it was parked in the 4300 block of Adelle Terrace about 7 p.m. Saturday with its engine running and the doors unlocked.
Burglary: Stereo equipment, a microwave oven, coffee maker and tools were stolen between Feb. 5 and Friday from Bethel House of God Church in the first block of W. Chase St. The burglary was reported Saturday.
North Point Precinct
Arrest: A man was arrested Saturday and charged with impersonating a police officer, possession of a deadly weapon and unlawfully having an emergency light on his car. Officer Randy Maddox stopped a blue 1995 Chevrolet Caprice near Eastern Boulevard and Rolling Mill Road about 6 p.m. Saturday and arrested the man after learning he was not a police officer. In the car, Maddox found a blue emergency light and a police baton, which police described as a deadly weapon. Charged and released on his own recognizance was a man, 32, who gave a mailbox at Baltimore City's main post office as his address.
Arrest: Officer Reese Andrews arrested a man at Fleming Drive and New Pittsburg Avenue on Saturday morning and charged him with illegal possession of a handgun and possession of suspected marijuana. Acting on a tip from a resident, Andrews approached the man, who kept one hand near a pocket that appeared to contain a weapon while talking to the officer. Andrews searched the man and seized a .380-semiautomatic handgun and suspected marijuana. Charged was Michael Tyrell Lee Whitt, 19, of the 500 block of Main St. in Turners Station.
Theft from vehicle: Stereo equipment valued at $2,000 was stolen Saturday from a car parked in the 2800 block of Ninth St. in Millers Island.
Burglary: A .40-caliber Glock semiautomatic handgun valued at $600 and two magazine clips were stolen from a house in the 8600 block of David Ave. between Feb. 1 and Friday.
