Baltimore City Medical Society

Is there a doctor in the house? If you had attended the Baltimore City Medical Society's annual dinner, you would have seen plenty. More than 80 members of this organization gathered for the event at the Center Club in the Legg Mason Building. In addition to enjoying a fine feast and a good view of the Inner Harbor, they celebrated the group's accomplishments over the past year, installed a new president, Dr. Beverly A. Collins, and honored Dr. H. Leonard Warres for his community service.

Among those attending were Dr. Willarda Edwards, past president of BCMS, who was with NAACP head Kweisi Mfume; Dr. Arthur Gudwin, president of the Anne Arundel County Medical Society, and his wife, Pattie; Dr. Jos Zebley III and his wife, Ineke; and Bernadette Lane, executive director of BCMS.
