APPEALING TO hungry tummies everywhere, two local groups will have food-related events tomorrow.
Boy Scout Troop 478 is having its annual spaghetti dinner and bake sale from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Community United Methodist Church, 8680 Fort Smallwood Road.
Parent volunteers will prepare the feast.
The cost is $4 for adults and $2 for children. Carryouts are available for an additional 50 cents.
A bake table filled with fattening goodies will be offered.
Proceeds will help send the troop to summer camp.

Lake Shore Rotarians are sponsoring a roast beef dinner from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. tomorrow in the fellowship hall of Mount Carmel United Methodist Church, 4760 Mountain Road. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children younger than 12.
Proceeds will benefit local Rotary Club projects.

Auxiliary dances
The auxiliary of Lake Shore Volunteer Fire Company is sponsoring two dances for adolescents this weekend in its hall, 4498 Mountain Road.
The group will have a dance for youngsters ages 8 to 12 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. tonight.
Admission is $3.50, and a parent or guardian must sign children in and out.
Snacks will be sold.
The 13-to-16-year-old crowd gets its chance from 6: 30 p.m. to 10 p.m. tomorrow. Admission is $5.
A deejay will provide music at both dances.

Many Pasadena congregations have planned traditional pancake suppers Tuesday to mark the last evening before Lent.
The men of Magothy United Methodist Church are holding their dinner from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the church fellowship hall, 3703 Mountain Road.
The dinner is free, but donations will be accepted.

Church preschool
Galilee Lutheran Church Preschool is accepting registrations for next school year. The preschool is at Galilee Lutheran Church, 4652 Mountain Road.
Classes meet from 9 a.m. to 11: 30 a.m. and noon to 2: 30 p.m.
The classes for 3-year-olds meet Tuesdays and Thursdays; 4-year-olds attend Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Bull, oyster roast
Lake Shore Volunteer Fire Company is sponsoring a bull and oyster roast from 7 p.m. to midnight Feb. 27 in the fire hall, 4498 Mountain Road.
Tickets are $20 in advance or $22 at the door.
A deejay will provide music from the '50s and '60s, as well as country and contemporary top 40 hits.

Scholarship benefit
The Mountain Road Kiwanis Club is sponsoring its annual scholarship bull and oyster roast from 7: 30 p.m. to 11: 30 p.m. March 13 at Kurtz Pleasure Beach, 2070 Kurtz Ave.
Tickets are $22 and include all-you-can-eat roast fare. The food will be available until 10: 30 p.m.
The club will draw the winning ticket in its raffle of two 13-game season tickets to Orioles games at Camden Yards. Or you could take $500 if you're not into baseball.
Raffle tickets are $1 each and are available from club members.
