Baltimore City
Southwestern District
Shooting: A woman, 22, who was shot about 11 p.m. Wednesday as she was getting into her car in the 4100 block of Mountwood Road, was in good condition yesterday at St. Agnes HealthCare. Police said the woman may have been the unintended victim of a man shooting at someone else. No arrest has been made.
Robbery/shooting: A man, 23, was in the 4300 block of Woodridge Road about 2: 10 a.m. yesterday when a gunman exited a nearby car and demanded his money. The victim was shot in the right hip after surrendering his money. He was treated at St. Agnes HealthCare and released.
Western District
Shooting: A West Baltimore man, 20, was walking in the 1700 block of Ruxton Ave. about 10: 30 p.m. Wednesday when another man shot him twice in the upper body. He was in critical condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center yesterday.
Southern District
Burglary: Video games, more than 100 Walt Disney movie tapes and a videocassette recorder, all valued at nearly $4,000, were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 500 block of Arsan Ave.
Baltimore County
Woodlawn Precinct
Abduction/robbery: A woman, 21, was standing outside her car at a gas station at Rolling and Liberty roads about 7 p.m. Tuesday when a gunman forced her into the vehicle. He drove her to an ATM outside a nearby liquor store and forced her to withdraw an undisclosed sum of money. He then drove her to Wabash Avenue in Northwest Baltimore, where he left the car and fled on foot. The woman was not injured.
Robbery try/assaults: Two males, ages 20 and 17, were in the 1700 block of Winding Brook Way about 10 p.m. Wednesday when two men got out of a car and asked them for a light. Before the victims could respond, one of the men cut each of them in the face with a knife and the assailants fled. The victims were treated at Northwest Hospital Center.
Essex Precinct
Arson: A one-alarm fire extensively damaged a vacant warehouse in the 12500 block of Eastern Ave. in Chase about 5: 30 p.m. Wednesday. Police were seeking at least two boys, who residents saw flee shortly before the fire broke out. There was no estimate of damage.
