Sykesville: Firefighters from Sykesville, Gamber, Liberty Road and Randallstown (Baltimore County) responded at 11: 46 a.m. Thursday to a house fire in the 6000 block of Avondale Road. Units were out 30 minutes.

Sykesville: Firefighters assisted Howard County at 6: 55 a.m. Thursday, responding to a chimney fire in the 13800 block of Old Frederick Road. Units were out 30 minutes.
