Dental day

Sink your teeth into a festive family event Saturday at the National Museum of Dentistry in celebration of National Children's Dental Health Month. The "Brush Up! Baltimore" event gives tips on dental health and hygiene through lively, fun skits and performances by the Tooth Fairy, Garfield the cat, ventriloquist/juggler/magician Spencer Horsman, Mayor Schmoke and others. Brush up on keeping that healthy smile through demonstrations by dental professionals, aimed at teaching parents when to have their children first visit the dentist, how to prevent baby bottle tooth decay, how to choose the right mouth protector for active children and much more. All children will receive a "Smile Kit," presented by the John O. Butler Co.
