Ellicott City-Elkridge

Elkridge: Two men entered the Subway store in the 6800 block of Washington Blvd. on Monday. One produced a gun and demanded money, taking an unknown amount of cash.

Elkridge: A prowler kicked open a door of a house in the 6300 block of Lawyers Hill Road on Sunday and ransacked the house, taking about $4,000 worth of stereo equipment and compact discs.

West Columbia

Harper's Choice: An intruder entered an apartment in the 12200 block of Green Meadow Drive on Monday and stole a compact disc player and videocassette recorder.

Wilde Lake: Someone broke into a business in the 10700 block of Little Patuxent Parkway on Sunday, gaining entrance through a rear window. Cash and checks were taken.

Western Howard

Highland: A homeowner returned to the 6700 block of Mink Hollow Road on Monday and found the house ransacked.
