Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.
Arrests: Three boys ages 16 and 17 were arrested Monday shortly after a shed in the 5400 block of Todd Ave. was broken into and two dirt bikes were stolen. When arrested in the 5500 block of Whit- wood Road, two of the boys were pushing the stolen bikes, and the third was riding one that had been stolen earlier from another location. The boys were being held at the district's juvenile holding facility.
Theft/arrest: A man stole items from the Giant supermarket in the 5100 block of Sinclair Lane and was caught by police and a store security officer after a brief foot chase Monday.
Arrest: A man was arrested Monday on a warrant charging him with shooting another man during an attempted robbery Dec. 24 in the 2300 block of Norfolk St. Roy Hamilton, 41, was arrested at home in the 200 block of S. Stricker St. and charged with attempted murder and attempted armed robbery.
Arrests: Two men were arrested Monday afternoon after the stolen Buick they were riding in crashed into a tree in Druid Hill Park while they were being pursued by police. Two other occupants of the car fled and were being sought. In the car, police found a customized AK-47 rifle, ammunition and a handgun.
Robbery: Two gunmen wearing masks robbed Lombard Food Market in the 1200 block of W. Lombard St. of $100 about 6 p.m. Monday.
Shooting: A man shot another man in the right buttock about 2 p.m. yesterday in the 2800 block of Virginia Ave. The victim was treated at Sinai Hospital.
Robbery: A man, 48, was walking across the Community College of Baltimore campus in the 2900 block of Liberty Heights Ave. about 2 p.m. Monday when a man who implied he was armed robbed him of $400.
Burglary: Jewelry, three watches, a movie tape and a videocassette recorder, all valued at more than $3,000, were stolen Monday from a house in the 500 block of Half Mile Court.
Theft: A cellular phone, a pager, two jackets and several compact discs, all valued at nearly $1,000, were stolen Monday from a 1997 Chevrolet parked in the 600 block of N. Calvert St.
Theft: An antique bronze statue of a musketeer valued at $5,000 was stolen Monday from an office building in the 100 block of W. Monument St.
Theft/arrest: A man was arrested Monday after he removed more than $1,000 from a cash register at Classic Furniture in the 300 block of N. Calvert St. The money was recovered.
Burglary: A radio, a compact disc player and 50 compact discs, all valued at more than $900, were stolen Monday from a house in the 800 block of Tyson St.
Theft: Law books valued at $500 were stolen Monday from a 1986 Dodge parked in the 200 block of E. Redwood St.
Rape: Police were seeking a man who raped a woman, 20, in her apartment about 2: 30 a.m. Monday after she accepted a ride from him. She was treated at Greater Baltimore Medical Center.
Burglary: Marble tile valued at $4,000 and boxes of tile adhesive valued at $400 were stolen from a house being built in the first block of Brett Manor Court in Sparks between Saturday and Monday.
Burglary: Handguns and shotguns, all valued at more than $2,500, were stolen from a house in the 21400 block of Dunk Freeland Road in Maryland Line between Jan. 15 and Monday.
