Fires

Winfield: Firefighters from Winfield, Mount Airy and Lisbon (Howard County) responded at 5: 24 p.m. Sunday to a chimney fire in the 4900 block of Woodbine Road. Units were out an hour.

Mount Airy: Firefighters responded at 6: 55 p.m. Saturday to a fire alarm in the 1200 block of Long Corner Road.
