Woman is pinned under car, killed

A 55-year-old Randallstown woman was killed Thursday night in the driveway of her home when her 1988 Volvo rolled down an incline, overturned and pinned her underneath, Baltimore County police said.

Judy Little, a counselor at Walbrook High School in Baltimore, was discovered about 8: 50 p.m. by officers who were responding to a call about an accident. Little, who lived in the first block of Trestle Wood Court, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said Little had returned from dinner with a friend. She apparently parked at the top of a steep driveway behind her house.

"The emergency brake was not engaged when our officers got there, and the car was still in drive," said Bill Toohey, a police spokesman.

Police think Little tried to get into the car to stop it from rolling, but slipped, and the car rolled down an embankment and turned over on top of her.
