The World of Rachel Carson

Learn the story of a woman's love for the natural world and her fight to defend it when the Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art presents the play "A Sense of Wonder," featuring film, television and Broadway actress Kaiulani Lee Saturday at Parkside High School in Salisbury. After the play walk across the street to the museum to attend a reception and opening of the exhibit "Witness for Nature: The World of Rachel Carson."

Museum admission of $7 includes the play, reception and exhibit. Students, $3.50 -- the play is recommended for ages 13 and older. The museum is at 909 S. Schumaker Drive and the high school on Beaglin Park Drive in Salisbury. The exhibit runs through April 30. Regular museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Saturday, noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. York County stamp show

Novice and serious collectors can buy, sell or trade stamps, covers and postcards Friday and Saturday at Yorcopex 99, the White Rose Philatelic Society's 21st annual show at the York Fairgrounds in York, Pa. Highlights include the cancellation of a cacheted show cover that commemorated the Acme Wagon Company -- the 13th in a series of "Historic Facts of York," and a youth area where free stamps and literature are available and questions about stamp collecting will be answered.

Show hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. tomorrow and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday in the Horticulture Hall, 334 Carlisle Ave. Call 717-235-1528.
