Walbrook upsets Lake Clifton in OT


Walbrook sophomore Daevon Haskins (12 points) sank a three-pointer with 20 seconds left in overtime to clinch the Warriors' 70-69 boys basketball victory over No. 10 Lake Clifton yesterday.

Dontae Truitt led the host Warriors (8-4) with 25 points, despite fouling out in the final seconds of regulation.

Lake Clifton (6-3) erased an 11-point deficit in the final minute of regulation and tied the game at 63 on Teoine Carroll's layup with three seconds left. Carroll, who had a game-high 29 points, scored all six of the Lakers' points in the extra period.
