Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.
Burglary: Jewelry and clothing, all valued at nearly $3,000, were stolen Wednesday from an apartment in the 2600 block of W. Patapsco Ave.
Robbery: A woman, 50, was ordering food in a carryout in the 600 block of Cherry Hill Road about 9 p.m. Wednesday when a man shoved her aside and snatched $90 from her grasp.
Robbery/stabbing: A man with a knife, accompanied by two other men, robbed a 20-year-old man of $80, then stabbed him in the back about 8 p.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of S. Parrish St. The victim was treated at University of Maryland Medical Center.
Drug arrests: Drug enforcement officers arrested two men suspected of running a cocaine operation from two houses Tuesday, one in the 1100 block of Forrest St. and the other in the 1400 block of Holbrook St. Several ounces of suspected cocaine, drug paraphernalia and a car were seized. Officers Scott A. Mileto and Michael W. Fries said the arrests ended a monthlong investigation. Robert Hammon-Bey, 21, of the 1500 block of Holbrook St. and Durell Cook, 32, of the 400 block of Orchard St. were each charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
Assault: A woman cut a man, 41, on the face and left hand with a knife about 11 p.m. Wednesday in the 2800 block of E. Madison St. She was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
Robbery: Two men, both with handguns, robbed a man, 18, of $150, a pair of boots and a coat in the 1600 block of N. Durham St. about 10 p.m. Wednesday.
Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a man, 48, of $30 and a cellular phone valued at $200 in the 4500 block of Old Frederick Road on Wednesday.
Robbery: A gunman robbed a man, 30, of $2 in the 2900 block of St. Paul St. on Wednesday.
Robbery try: A woman armed with a handgun tried to rob Ashburton Food Market in the 600 block of Ashburton St. about 1 p.m. Wednesday but fled empty-handed when a clerk hit the holdup alarm. Outside, the woman was joined by three other women, who escaped.
White Marsh Precinct
Theft/arrests: Two girls from Parkville were arrested Wednesday when they tried to leave Montgomery Ward department store at Golden Ring Mall without paying for clothing valued at almost $30.
Theft/arrests: A man was arrested Wednesday when he tried to leave Lord & Taylor department store at White Marsh Mall without paying for boots valued at $100. At the same store Wednesday, a man was arrested when he tried to steal clothing valued at almost $200.
Burglary: Someone entered Starlight Diner in the first block of Eastern Blvd. through a door Wednesday and removed $300 from a cash register and $115 from a safe.
North Point Precinct
Robbery: A gunman robbed Midas Muffler in the 7200 block of Eastern Blvd. of an undisclosed sum of money about 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Burglary: A videocassette recorder and 40 video games, all valued at more than $1,500, were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 7600 block of Charlesmont Road.
